JAAGO Foundation is a civil society organization (CSO) working towards education and social mobilization for the underprivileged masses of Bangladesh. Its mission to fight poverty, JAAGO pioneered a Free-of-Cost International Standard School for underprivileged children in remote areas of Bangladesh. JAAGO’s Youth Development Program focuses on national development via the reallocation of skills and resources to foster self – reliance and growth in every young citizen.
Brief description of Position
The position holder will work with and support the Partnership & Branding Department with proposal writing, attend external meetings, collaboration of organizations / partners / donors, maintain excellent relationships with assigned clients
Priority should be given to identify corporates / individual to donate money, develop fund raising strategies, guide team members through all procedures to support the full implementation of the organization’s vision.
Position Title: Corporate Affairs Manager
Department: Partnership & Branding
Employment Status: Contractual (1 Year)
Maintain and develop new and existing portfolio of corporate relationships including providing excellent account management, designing and delivering bespoke communications and organization of cultivation events
Identify corporates / individual to donate money and maintain excellent relationships with assigned clients.
Plan, design, supervise and organize campaigns / events / activations / donor visit etc.
Writing proposals / reports / presentation to secure funding opportunity.
Attend external meetings and conduct visit for acquiring new organizational partnerships.
Collaboration of organization’s / partners / donors branding with external media, agencies and coordinate with internal PR team.
Documentation and keep records of organizational partnerships and relevant needed information.
Evaluate the success of previous fundraising events and prepare reports after big events.
Develop and maintain database of all contacts.
Oversee campaign/event materials to ensure alignment with branding strategy and maximize effectiveness.
Coordinate with different vendors, media agencies for campaigns and events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Develop fund raising strategies as per organizational need.
Research on prospective donors and develop fundraising strategies accordingly.
To ensure proper planning and timely submission of Budgets in collaboration Education Team.
To operate within approved budgets.
To implement financial and budgetary policies laid down by the management.
To support and guide team members through all procedures
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
To report to Management team.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, International Business or relevant subject.
Must have 3-5 years experiences of professional corporate fundraising
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills both in English & Bangla (Speaking and Writing) and ability to produce reports and proposals and make and give presentations.
A proven track record of success in managing and achieving set targets
Experience of successful business networking
Has to be proactive, self-motivating and hardworking
