Brief description of JAAGO Foundation:
JAAGO Foundation is a civil society organization (CSO) working in providing quality education to underprivileged children and empowering youth in Bangladesh. The organization’s core programs focus on Education and Youth Development. The education program is providing free of cost quality education to 3,500 children through 8 Digital and 3 Conventional schools across Bangladesh. Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD), the volunteer wing of the Youth Development Program, promotes the spirit of youth and volunteerism through its 35,000 registered volunteers in 32 districts across the country mainly working on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Job Description:

  • – Screening and shortlisting CV’s, call for the interview, co-ordinate the written test and viva;
  • – Verify documents and reference checking of selected employee;
  • – Conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities;
  • – Create account of new employee in workplace and employee dashboard;
  • – Create new file and manage all personnel files;
  • – Open Bank A/C;
  • – Manage staff ID card & visiting card;
  • – Maintain HR Software;
  • – Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance & leave to ensure employee punctuality;
  • – Follow up of employee confirmation and contract;
  • – Prepare salary statement;
  • – Database Management
  • – Support staff appraisal management;
  • – Assist in implementing and communicating human resources policies or programs;
  • – Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement
    of employees in consultation with the management ;
  • – Resolving grievances or queries that any of the employees have;
  • – Create and run referral bonus programs;
  • – Measure employee retention and turnover rates;
  • – Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly;
  • – Planning and execution of organization events or activities on occasions by management’s approval;
  • – Update HR related information to JAAGO’s Facebook page and website;
  • – Oversee daily operations of the HR department;
  • – Any other task assigned by Supervisor.

 

Experience Requirements:
1 to 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements
– 1 to 2 years’ experience in Human Resources Management functions.
– Excellent communication skills both in oral and written English and Bangla.
– Have the skills in Microsoft Office, HR Software, Word Processing, and Data Analytics.
