Ensuring Uninterrupted Education with JAAGO Women scholarship
We know that while talent is universally distributed, an opportunity is not – we know that this is particularly true for women and girls worldwide. The lowest-income countries have the lowest university completion rates, and men are more likely than women to profit from these limited options. But, countless studies show that when you empower girls and women, you strengthen entire communities.
Dedicated to advancing the educational opportunities of women in low-income communities, JAAGO Foundation, funded by U-Go, will provide JAAGO Women Scholarship (JWS). In celebration of International Women’s Day, these scholarships worth BDT 100,000-250,000 will be provided to seventy-five female students from public universities. The scholarship amount will be disbursed monthly.
