Position Summary
This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors & donors, ensuring they receive timely updates and reports. Key responsibilities include creating effective fundraising strategies, engaging sponsors during events, managing accurate sponsor databases, and providing regular progress updates. This position plays a vital role in enhancing donor satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the organization’s fundraising goals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for sponsors and partners, nurturing strong relationships through regular communication.
- Keep sponsors informed about the progress and well-being of the children under their support.
- Collaborate with the program team to ensure that updates about the children are timely and accurate.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
- Attend events and engage with sponsors to enhance their connection with the organization.
- Provide regular progress reports to the reporting manager regarding fundraising and sponsor engagement.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sponsor database.
- Contribute to the organization’s broader fundraising strategy by offering insights and feedback based on Sponsor feedback and industry trends.
- Identify potential opportunities and communicate them to the appropriate team members for follow-up.
- Address sponsor concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct sponsor satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements to enhance client satisfaction.
Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputed university.
Experience
A track record of 2-3 years in customer management or client service roles.
Skills and other competencies

- Effective Communication Skills: Possess proficient written and verbal communication abilities to create clear and impactful messages when interacting with sponsors and team members.
- Proficiency in English: Have a fluent command of the English language.
- Versatility and Teamwork: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a results-driven, goal-oriented mindset. Show a high degree of initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Database Management Expertise: Prior experience in database management and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases is necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Exhibit a strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Empathetic and Attuned: Display empathy, active listening skills, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards the organization’s mission, fostering and nurturing strong relationships.
- Self-Motivated and Dynamic: Be a self-motivated, energetic individual with a dynamic personality, capable of performing tasks effectively and efficiently, even under pressure.
