Published: Oct 20, 2025

Position Summary

JAAGO Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Trainer – Green Technology to join the Shopner Sharothi (Girls Education and Skills Partnership) Project, specifically supporting the Skills on Wheels component. This innovative initiative uses a mobile training center—a transformed bus equipped with all necessary training facilities—to reach remote upazilas in Cox’s Bazar and Bandarban districts, including Ramu, Chakaria, Eidgaon, Lama, and Alikadam, providing a continuous and accessible learning environment.

The Trainer – Green Technology will be responsible for developing, designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs in Green Technology and sustainability skills, including climate-resilient farming practices, organic farming, composting, smart agriculture, and related areas. A core focus of this role is facilitating job placement for trainees by linking skill development directly to employment and income-generation opportunities. The trainer will support participants in identifying market-relevant skills, preparing for employment, internships, or entrepreneurial ventures, and connecting with employers, cooperatives, or local organizations to secure sustainable livelihoods.

The position requires a hands-on approach to teaching, mentoring, and tracking trainee progress, ensuring that graduates acquire practical, employable skills that can be immediately applied in the local labor market.

This position will report directly to the Project Manager. Candidates must be citizens of Bangladesh and committed to promoting gender-responsive, sustainable, and market-relevant employment opportunities for youth in remote communities.
