Civic education is the study of the theoretical, political, and practical aspects of citizenship, its rights and duties. It empowers us to be well-informed, active citizens and gives us the opportunity to change the world around us.
Recently, Volunteer for Bangladesh has arranged a nationwide training program to train youth from 64 districts of Bangladesh on “Civic Education”. This training aims to prepare the youth of Bangladesh in a large number from all the districts and create the opportunity for them to practice leadership and empower women. A total of 128 participants joined from 8 divisions of Bangladesh. After this training, trainers are ready to arrange sensitization workshops within their concerned districts and implement an effective community project in each district of 8 Divisions.
